**Summary**

As Contract Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company. You will work closely with the finance team and management to ensure accurate financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform bank account and other general ledger account reconciliations.
- Perform variance analysis on costs and revenues.
- Create schedules to support account reconciliation.
- Process journal entries
- Assist with complex spreadsheets.
- Assist with annual audit.
- Ad hoc reporting

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2-3 Years accounting and bookkeeping experience, preferably in property management
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity software, experience with INFOR an asset

**Requirements**:

- Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Police Check
- Covid-19 vaccination proof
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read, write, speak English.

**Job Type**

Full-time - Contract 3- 9 months

**Salary**:
Starting at $40.00 per hour

**Working Conditions**
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm)
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours each day.
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs independently.

**Salary**: $40.00 per hour
