**Your contribution**
The Vice President - Human Resources is a member of the Executive Committee and plays a key role as advisor and true business partner to the company's senior management team. He or she has a clear vision of the company, the industry and the ability to align HR plans with corporate strategy. He or she develops, proposes and implements Human Resources management strategies that contribute to the development of leadership and talent, to the emergence of a culture of innovation and to ensuring succession in key positions within the company. These strategies must support the organization's business objectives, in a context of accelerated growth, geographic diversification and cultural change. Change management in a context of improved organizational performance, resource mobilization and commitment will be at the heart of his or her concerns.
He or she is an inspiring and engaging leader, with extensive experience in various fields of human resources expertise. He or she establishes a close relationship with internal customers and the external talent market to position an innovative employer offering at the forefront of new generation trends. His or her added value lies in in-depth knowledge of corporate strategy, internal customers, stakeholders, key employees and business and industry processes.
**Your day-to-day**
- Participate in the strategic planning process and support management in defining an optimal structure for organizational performance, fostering agility and the ability to adapt quickly to change;
- Develop and implement Human Resources management policies with a focus on mobilization and equity, the achievement of corporate objectives and inter-team synergies;
- Play an influential role in developing, nurturing, optimizing the potential of human talent, to foster a culture of mobilization and employee commitment;
- In collaboration with the management team, ensure the planning and launch of succession, development and training plans to meet current and future business issues and needs;
- Lead the launch of acquisition integration initiatives and manage change to ensure the success of the resulting organizational transformations;
- Provide leadership in the area of executive compensation;
- Implement equitable global compensation practices, and regularly measure the competitiveness of programs against reference markets;
- Participate in the implementation of common performance indicators within the management team to provide employees with clear objectives and an understanding of their direct contribution to the overall success of the organization;
- Act as an ambassador for the company's culture, values, mission and objectives;
- Support, in close collaboration with the management team, a work environment that recognizes excellence and innovation, and fosters a positive atmosphere of achievement and pride for employees;
- Keep abreast of HR trends and best practices, including workplace health and wellness programs, and ensure their evolution;
- Contribute to the Human Resources Committee of the Board of Directors and play an influential role as a key member of the Committee.
**Your skills, our requirements**
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources management, including 5 years as a senior manager and 5 years in public companies;
- Solid experience in organizational transformation and change management;
- Solid knowledge of executive compensation models;
- Experience in multi-site companies with international business units;
- Previous work experience in innovative contexts and environments in terms of management practices and in multi-generational organizations;
- University degree in Human Resources management or other relevant training;
- Available for travel within and outside Canada (20-30%);
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills;
- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment;
- Is an influential catalyst for change, able to propose HR strategies relevant to the company's development, and able to engage colleagues from the management team;
