Our client, Sensenbrenner Hospital, is a fully accredited 53-bed bilingual family-oriented, community-governed facility located in Kapuskasing, serving a catchment area from Opasatika to Fauquier in Northern Ontario. The hospital has a very stable and supportive medical staff and offers a wide range of nursing services such as, but not limited to: Home and Community Care, Specialty Clinics, Surgical, Obstetrics, Chemotherapy, and inpatient floors (Medical/Surgical and Continuing Care).

With a population of over 8,000, Kapuskasing is a vibrant community that boasts all the amenities associated with an urban centre, while providing the relaxing lifestyle of a smaller community. Kapuskasing’s economic growth is reflected in the continual development and expansion of its commercial and industrial sectors.

We are recruiting for a Nursing Unit Manager, with the opportunity to work in the 21-bed Medical-Surgical unit (which also includes Obstetrical services) or in the Emergency Department together with the ICU.
- A healthcare diploma or degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Healthcare is required. Experience in an acute setting is considered an asset
- Maintains balanced portfolio of administrative skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with expertise in the area of management
- Possesses exceptional organizational and communicational skills
- Exhibits a high degree of tact, patience and critical thinking in order to maintain good interpersonal relationships

Compensation is per the standard salary grid of $49.88 - $54.33 per hour for 37.5 hours / week (flexible schedule) in association with benefits paid 100% by the employer. A signing bonus (return of service agreement) of $10,000 is payable the first pay.

Il est situé à Kapuskasing et dessert une zone allant d'Opasatika à Fauquier, dans le nord de l'Ontario. L'hôpital dispose d'un personnel médical très stable et solidaire et offre une large gamme de services infirmiers tels que, mais sans s'y limiter, les soins à domicile et les soins communautaires, les cliniques spécialisées et les services d'urgence : Soins à domicile et communautaires, cliniques spécialisées, chirurgie, obstétrique, chimiothérapie et étages d'hospitalisation (médical/chirurgical et soins continus).

Nous recrutons un(e) gestionnaire d'unité de soins infirmiers, avec la possibilité de travailler dans l'unité médico-chirurgicale de 21 lits (qui comprend également des services obstétriques) ou dans le service des urgences avec l'unité de soins intensifs.
- Un diplôme dans le domaine de la santé est exigé.
- Un minimum de 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de la santé est exigé. Une expérience dans un établissement de soins aigus est considérée comme un atout.
- Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience avec une expertise dans le domaine de la gestion.
- Possède des compétences exceptionnelles en matière d'organisation et de communication. Fait preuve de tact, de patience et d'esprit critique afin d'entretenir de bonnes relations interpersonnelles.

La rémunération est selon à la grille salariale standard de 49,88 $ - 54,33 $ de l'heure pour 37,5 heures par semaine (horaire flexible) en association avec des avantages sociaux payés à 100 % par l'employeur. Une prime à la signature (entente de retour de service) de 10 000 $ est payable à la première paie.
