**Your new role**

In this role as the Payroll + Accounting Clerk, you will be working closely with the Controller, responsible for payroll and accounting activities such as:

- Gathering and managing payroll data, including: time sheets, benefits information, direct deposit forms, tax filing documents, etc
- Ensuring that all data is correct, complete, and accurate
- Validating deductions and adjustments calculations are done correctly
- Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
- Payment distributions mainly through Direct Deposit and e-stub statements
- Ensuring Paper statement is accessible when necessary
- Aiding with vacation pay out completed twice yearly
- Aiding in bank runs, bill payments, and cheque deposits
- Entering tenant charges
- Aiding in ledgers

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 1-3 years of payroll related experience
- Accounts receivable experience
- Detail-oriented
- Fast learner
- Able to communicate clearly with the accounting team + share information as needed

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
