**The Opportunity**:The Junior Social Media and Communications Marketing Coordinator will assist in managing our brand’s social media presence, support internal communications, and engage with our online community. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who is eager to develop their expertise in social media marketing and brand messaging.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Content Creation**: Help create, edit, and post engaging content across social media platforms like Meta, TikTok, X, SnapChat, YouTube, etc.
- **Community Engagement**: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social channels to maintain a welcoming and responsive community.
- **Company Memos**: Draft and distribute company memos and communications, ensuring a clear, professional tone that aligns with our brand’s voice.
- **Content Calendar Management**: Contribute to the social media content calendar, helping organize posts and maintain consistency.
- **Analytics Tracking**: Collect basic data on social media performance and audience engagement to help improve strategies.
- **Industry Research**: Stay informed on social media trends and industry news to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work with team members on projects, product launches, and events to drive brand awareness. Ensure good relations with supplier, printers, media for best possible cost at all times.

**What you Bring**:

- **Strong written and verbal communication skills **with a keen attention to detail.
- **Familiarity with social media platforms** and a passion for growing in social media marketing.
- Basic experience with social media **scheduling or analytics tools** (experience with HubSpot, Sprout Social, or similar is helpful but not required).
- Intermediate **graphic design skills**: experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar tools is a plus.
- **Post secondary education**, college diploma or university degree.
- **Knowledge of office management systems** and procedures.
- Excellent **time management skills** and **ability to multitask** and prioritize work.
- Strong **organizational skills** and meticulous **attention to detail**.
- Strong **problem-solving skills**.
- Excellent written and verbal **communication skills**.
- **Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Cloud, MS Office** - All products therein
- **Photography **and **Photo Editing skills**

**Location and Commitment**:

- In-Office at our Mississauga Head Office
- We offer flexible start and end times.
- For our non-operations professionals, our corporate office is open to employees to work Monday through Friday 8AM - 7PM; we believe employees should have the ability to flex their workdays to fit their schedules.
- Employees are expected to work 9 consecutive hours between 8AM - 7PM, which includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch.
