Canagold is a gold mining and exploration company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and has projects in British Columbia and Nevada.

Currently, the company's main objective is to advance the development of the New Polaris property, located in northern British Columbia, on the traditional territory of the Tlingit First Nations of the Taku River. This advancement will be achieved through feasibility assessment, obtaining environmental permits, and construction, with the goal of becoming a producer of 100,000 ounces of gold per year.

New Polaris boasts 1.1 million ounces of resources with a gold grade of 10.5 gpt. The plan is to develop an underground ramp mining operation of 1,000 tonnes per day using long-hole and cut-and-fill drilling methods. Processing will involve flotation with biooxidation of flotation concentrate, followed by CIL leaching to produce gold bars. The mine's lifespan is estimated to be approximately 10 years. Additionally, Canagold's shareholder, Sun Valley Investments (holding a 40% stake), operates two underground mines in Colombia that may also require technical support and assistance from this position.

Canagold Resources Ltd is seeking a Drilling Geologist with experience in underground mining to oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of the drilling project. This includes geological logging and sampling of rocks, as well as management of geological risks associated with drilling.

Qualifications:

- Degree in geology or geological engineering with over 5 years of relevant practical experience.
- Extensive knowledge of various underground mining methods and all aspects of underground mining engineering.
- Experience in drilling and sampling protocols, interpretation of geological formations, geological and geotechnical logging, identification of minerals and rocks, risk management, and assessment of geological risks associated with drilling.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drilling supervision: Oversee drilling operations to ensure proper procedures are followed and high-quality data is obtained.
- Core sample evaluation: Collect and analyze rock core samples to determine composition, porosity, permeability, and other important geological characteristics.
- Interpretation of geological data: Use drilling data, geophysical logs, and other geological data to interpret subsurface geology.
- Geological mapping: Develop detailed geological maps showing the distribution and structure of geological formations in the drilling area.
- Geological risk management: Evaluate and manage geological risks associated with drilling, such as the presence of geological faults and other geological structures.
- Technical advisory: Provide technical advice to drilling engineers and operations teams on appropriate drilling designs and techniques.
