Right Start Employment is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team. Our client is looking to add on a CNC Operator to their team.

Shift timing:7am to 4:30pm (Overtime available when busy

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Material handling required where the individual would be required to manually flip or turn long pieces of steel material that is sitting on the conveyor.
- Produce quality parts that meet customer
- Adhere to and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and coworkers.
- Participate and perform daily regular cleaning, and maintenance troubleshooting of equipment.
- Layout, read, and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other company documents.
- Operate heavy steel fabrication machinery according to company policies.
- Load and unload equipment with material manually or with the following equipment: overhead crane, forklifts, magnets, clamps, straps, etc.
- Have at least 3 years’ experience working in structural steel fabrication shop environment.
- Lift material weighing at least 50 lbs in weight.
- Overhead cranes experience would be a great asset
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and using ‘CNC’ computers within a structural steel shop environment
- Knowledge using the following two CNC Machines would be highly regarded when making our decision: 4.1. Peddinghaus (or similar) Anglemaster processing line. 4.2 PythonX (or similar) CNC Beam Processing Line

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Georgetown, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- CNC Operating: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Overhead Crane license (preferred)
