**Role Overview**:
Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the Marketing and Event Strategist will work closely with our leadership team and sales team, to ensure that marketing strategies are fully integrated with our business objectives. The responsibilities will include elevating the brand’s visibility and engagement through well-conceived marketing strategies, effective budget management & development of annual marketing plans, innovative promotional activities, and hands-on digital presence management. Crucial to this role is the planning, organization, execution, and evaluation of small
- and large-scale supplier and customer-facing events such as conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, etc.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with leadership to create comprehensive marketing strategies including goal setting, and marketing mix determination to enhance brand visibility and market share
- Develop and manage budget, and allocate resources responsibly to maximize ROI
- Plan, organize, execute, and evaluate small
- and large-scale supplier and customer-facing events such as conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, product launches, golf tournaments, hiring fairs, promotional events, meetings, and more including, but not limited to: designing event functions; event logistics management; booking dinners and meetings; catering arrangements for lunch and learns; coordination of sales events, including promotional events with suppliers and customer
- Engage the target audience and enhance Olympic International’s brand via social media, website, and internal channels including PR, hands-on marketing content and collaterals materials development, digital engagement strategies development and implementation, and advertising regular news/product updates
- Innovate and manage the inventory and distribution of creative and unique promotional merchandise
- Order and coordinate all brand-related items, including business cards, invitations, and other marketing collateral
- Review and develop presentation materials for internal and external use
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Education, Licenses and/or Certification, Experience Required_
- Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing or communications, demonstrating a track record of successful marketing plan execution, event management, and digital marketing initiatives
- A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience that provides a solid foundation in marketing principles and practice
- Proven experience in managing events of similar scope and scale as described above
- Proven experience in organization, event planning management, and project management in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and run multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on budget management, productivity, and meeting deadlines
- Creativity and innovation in marketing strategies and promotional activities, willingness to adapt to evolving market trends
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Analytics, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, Photoshop, Canva and/or In-Design
- Independent self-starter able to initiate and set own direction in line with the organization's vision and strategy
- Exceptional communication skills that enable the development and delivery of clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated industry-specific knowledge, especially in HVAC, construction, or related fields, providing a contextual understanding of the market, competitors, and customer needs is considered an asset.
