**Qualifications**:

- Education:
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- Peoplesoft PeopleTools training preferred
- Peoplesoft Application training would be an asset
- Familiarity with business/data analytics is preferred
- Experience:
- 5 years’ experience supporting an enterprise level computer software in a large diverse environment
- Project management, business analysis and client management experience
- Experience working in a post-secondary or research environment preferred
- Experience with PeopleSoft Modules would be preferred
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Project management skills, with an ability to identify goals, outcomes, milestones and strategies
- Extensive technical knowledge in one area of support or development, with a working knowledge in several other specializations which may include: testing methodologies, data security and privacy, reporting and analytics, mobile technologies, e-commerce, network administration, programming, project management and business analysis
- Proficient in the use of software development tools
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical users, including senior leaders, internal & external clients, integration partners, database administrators, developers, operations etc.
- Ability to work in a manner that models best practices in confidentiality standards
- Ability and willingness to employ a consultative and collaborative approach to addressing issues and making decisions
- Ability to manage changing requirements and competing demands by effectively prioritizing and re-prioritizing work
- Customer service skills to understand customer needs and expectations, with a desire to deliver helpful and reliable service to the University research community
- Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills to analyze problems and collect information to recommend the best solution
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Organizational skills to manage multiple assignments that are accurate and thorough, sometimes of a complex nature or involving competing priorities, with the proven ability to successfully complete projects of varying magnitude and complexity
- Problem solving skills with a sense of urgency in resolving issues and getting tasks completed
- Presentation skills to deliver engaging and informative presentations that clearly explain information to broad audiences
