Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist other management, and ownership in menu planning, food preparation, and recipe development.
- Oversee kitchen operations ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation in every meal.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety guidelines.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to meet business demands.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative, health-focused dishes.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Manage and organize food orders based on weekly demand.
- Supervise kitchen employees and ensure that work shifts are scheduled efficiently.
- Oversee the food preparation and cooking processes to meet our meal prep quality standards.
- Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff in their designated stations.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly assessments to ensure optimal stock.
- Coordinate with management/ownership regarding menu pricing and updates.
- Maintain weekly and monthly cost reports to ensure budget adherence.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management about upcoming events and audits.
- Create detailed specifications and task lists for employees to ensure consistency and quality.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a focus on meal prep.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Proven experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices and industry trends, with a specific focus on meal prep.

Pay: $37,500.00-$42,000.00 per year
