Junior Batch Maker

We are looking for a results-oriented, ambitious and energetic individual who is self
- motivated, fit, a hard worker and able to get along with others to achieve the company’s business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

- Be able to drive a Fork-Lift (must have certification)
- Be able to weigh correctly and accurately record all ingredients
- Assist the Batch-Maker with production duties and provide back-up in his absence
- Be able to follow batch formulation sheets by accurately following instructions
- Be able to make small batches for customers
- Operate and control the blending machine (high sheer 50HP mixer) and mix ingredients according to the formula procedure
- Accurately complete documentation as required
- Package the manufactured liquid materials as per instructions
- Clean tools and equipment
- Organize and maintain warehouse facility in a clean professional manner
- Assist with Shipping and Receiving
- Conduct other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift driving license mandatory, with a minimum 3 years experience in safely handling drums
- Ability to follow specific batch-making instructions
- Previous experience in paint or related industries is an asset
- Be fit, in good physical shape, and able to lift pails up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to read, understand and communicate in English (medium level)
- Be punctual and dependable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
