**Position**: Restoration Project Manager

**Reports To**:General Manager

**General Description**

As a Project Manager, you will manage the mitigation and renovation, as well as control and communicate the budgets effectively. This means you will spend a good deal of time in the field to see your projects get completed properly. You will act as a liaison between the Insurance Company and the Property Owner/Manager, managing the claim from start to finish, ensuring each project runs smoothly. This position requires an individual who is organized and committed to being successful. Strong leadership, people management skills, and salesmanship are a must as is the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and management.

Due to the nature of our work and the demands of our clients, flexible working hours are required though a typical work week is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will also be required to participate in the On-Call Rotation.

**Nature & Scope**

Performs a variety of in duties including:

- Accept claims directly from insurance adjusters and brokers
- Perform site inspections, assess damages, accurately measure and sketch areas, take photos and upload to Encircle software, and ensure all necessary information is collected
- Educate homeowners on the claim process and give the realistic timeline expectations of when the emergency and rebuild work will be completed
- Ensure industry KPIs are met or exceeded
- Send scopes and all necessary information the the Estimator to create the estimate
- Daily communication with the Project Managers Assistants on job updates, budgets, concerns, and to ensure timelines are being met
- Manage multiple projects at a time
- Perform site visits and ensure safety standards are met
- Perform weekly meetings with the Compliance Manager to review all files
- Work closely with the Site Supervisor to ensure rebuild jobs are completed on time and efficiently
- Build new relationships with the industry personnel such as insurance adjusters, brokers, and subtrades
- Remain current with market pricing for materials, supplies & labour
- Review all final estimates to confirm accuracy of work completed
- Manage costs to ensure projects are completed on budget
- Assist accounting staff with unpaid invoices including following up with clients on overdue accounts
- Send job files for invoicing

**Team Qualifications (Requirements) MUST HAVE**:

- Minimum 2 years of previous project management experience in the property restoration industry
- Must be familiar with the insurance industry
- Must be able to prioritize and manage time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and priority management skills.
- Fluent in English
- Valid driver's license
- Have the ability to work overtime, if needed
- Proficiency using Outlook, Encircle, Xactanalysis, and Xactimate
- Experience using Core Logic/Claims Connect is an asset
- IICRC Certifications are an asset
