BridgeWay is the largest provider of EarlyON Child and Family Centres in the Region of Peel. We provide free prenatal services, early learning programs and supports to pregnant women, and families/caregivers with children birth - 6 years of age. We are looking for a new Supervisor who is passionate about working closely with children **and **their families, and will lead a strong team of Early Years Educators and Family Support staff.

**Duties Include**:
- Ensuring that the Turtle Creek EarlyON Centre is a welcoming, supportive, environment for staff and families
- Recognizing the individuality of each family and demonstrating respect for different parenting or caregiving styles
- Providing emotional support, information and role modeling for parents and caregivers raising young children following Family Support principles
- Use of the ELECT and How Does Learning Happen documents to facilitate family support and quality programs* for children
- Developing programs that meet the ongoing needs of clients visiting Turtle Creek
- Establishing new partnerships with a wide range of community services
- Ensuring cultural sensitivity and client confidentiality are always preserved
- Completing administrative tasks such as monthly reports, statistic gathering, completing payroll, centre purchasing
- Mentoring and supervising staff, including completion of performance feedback sessions
- Ensuring appropriate staffing is in place by arranging coverage for absences
- Completing special projects such as Human Resources support; staff training/development; new program development; database support - based on individual interest and agency need
*programs are offered in person, online and outdoors
**Qualifications**:
- RECE, Family Support Certificate or Degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the early years field
- Emergency First Aid/CPR B or C certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- RECE in good standing with the College of ECE (as applicable)
- Experience supervising staff is an asset
- Self-motivated, takes initiative and works well within a team environment
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work some flexible hours
- Additional language(s) an asset
**Location**:Turtle Creek EarlyON Centre, Mississauga, ON
**Hours**: Monday - Friday - 9:00 am - 4:30 - 35 hours per week
**Salary**: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
