Since 1979, CISS has been a leader in Canadian summer camps for international students. Our mission is to provide meaningful learning experiences across Canada for both our international students and our own team members in their lifelong journeys of learning.

Each year we welcome youths from Canada and around the world to attend our various summer programmes, which include both city residential and traditional Canadian summer camps. Our Head Office staff is dedicated to providing daily support to the programme directors and international agents who are responsible for ensuring the students’ satisfaction. Summer staff are key members of our team during the busy summer months and we are pleased to offer a challenging, and supportive work environment

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting with the daily operations of the various summer programmes from our Head Office.
- Assisting to resolve customer conflicts in a diplomatic and expert manner.
- Entering student booking details and profile updates into the company database.
- Creating student arrival and departure charts using MS Word and Excel.
- Assisting with airport Meet & Greets where required.
- Obtaining and verifying flight details for arriving and departing students.
- Chasing agents for pending or missing student information/flight details.
- Gathering, checking, and filing staff payroll and personnel documents.
- Assisting with handling "emergency" phone calls outside office hours, as required.
- Performing other clerical duties as required.

**Essential Qualifications**

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- Previous experience working in an office environment.
- Experience providing excellent customer service.
- Experience working with international students and/or clients an asset.
- Camp experience and/or a keen interest in travel an asset.

SKILLS:

- Computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
- Professional telephone manner with excellent communication skills.
- Additional fluency in Spanish or Japanese an asset.
- Outstanding organizational skills with special attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Ability to be diplomatic, patient and calm in difficult situations.
- Successful multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities.
- Reliable, conscientious and able to adapt to a flexible work schedule.
- Ability to work well within a Team structure.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION:

- Completed High School
- Preferably enrolled in a University or College Programme

**Working Conditions**
- Some overtime hours will also be required, including civic holidays as necessary.
- Applicant must be able to build strong, professional relationships with directors, agents, and suppliers over the course of the summer.
- Much of the summer is spent working with the computer, handling calls, and sitting at a desk.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: One location
