Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide is responsible for the assembly and delivery of food to patients and other clients while adhering to departmental and legislated safety and sanitation practices. This position is also responsible for receiving, handling and storage of food and supplies, pot washing, equipment cleaning and institutional kitchen cleaning.
You have successfully obtained your Grade 12 diploma. Your previous experience in the food service industry or other healthcare facility is preferred. Your Food Service Worker Certification and Current Food Handlers Certificate is also preferred.
An excellent communicator with the ability to work well with others in an interdisciplinary team environment you are a self-motivated individual with the ability to work and complete workload assignments with mínimal supervision. You provide a positive attitude to changing environments.
As a condition of employment, external hires are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital’s Occupational Health and Safety department.
