**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are looking for an experienced Electrical drafter to join our team on a contract basis. You not only possess strong technical expertise in drafting but also have the ability to support projects and promote best practices in drafting. You will collaborate closely with the electrical design team and be responsible for creating project deliverables under the direction of the Electrical Lead. This is a hands-on role, and we’re seeking someone who is willing to dive in and lead by example.

The role directly reports to the Electrical Manager.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all drawings and drafting deliverables are prepared in accordance with Scovan standards and specifications.
- Coordinate schedule for paperspace deliverables with Electrical Lead and electrical design teams.
- Facilitate internal or external model reviews.
- Participate in regular meetings with electrical design team to discuss drafting deliverables progress or updates.
- Pursue design and drafting excellence.
- Identify potential operational barriers and improve on the reliability of our design and drawings.
- Provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate drafters.
- Collaborate with project teams, engineering team, electrical team and other project partners/stakeholders in the duration of a project.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 10 years of drafting experience.
- Possess a degree, diploma or certificate from an accredited institution.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, CADWorx Plant.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- Experience working in fast paced environment with continuous deliveries.
