Reporting to the Director, Driver Safety and Compliance, the Manager, Road Safety Systems Reporting & Compliance leads the implementation, standardization and continuous improvement of Canada Post Road Safety reporting systems and platforms by consolidating data streams from various internal and external systems, to ensure the flow of accurate and valid motor vehicle incident, telematics, and driver qualification statistical data company wide. Leads the implementation and change management plan for the national deployment of the telematics system reporting and compliance portfolio. Provides analytical consulting and support to business leaders and partners to consolidate and convert analytics into actionable strategies by leveraging the science and solid business acumen to deliver relevant and solid business acumen to deliver relevant and effective reports and presentations to support their business partner’s business objectives and plans. The Manager provides specialized advice and guidance to assist in the design of innovative systems and tools to standardize the collection, integration, analysis and recording of road safety data. They will support the development and maintenance of Corporate-wide safety directives and policies and will promote the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Enhances the collection, consolidation, integration and reporting of collision data. Establishes benchmarks and key performance indicators to measure and determine the efficiency, quality and effectiveness of Road Safety Programs and to identify opportunities for program improvements. Establishes, champions and maintains a strong Canada Post road safety culture.
- Interprets Canada Post driver collision data and metrics to develop and provide strategic recommendations for program improvements. Establishes benchmarks and key performance indicators to help monitor program success.
- Supports the Fleet telematics stakeholders on the implementation and integration of the full fleet national telematics system including: establishing reporting responsibilities, data analysis, management and, reporting protocols and cycles.
- Works with the Director and Systems Officers to determine and define key metrics, reporting formats and audiences to define reporting protocols, key report metrics, formats and reporting periods and audience.
- Leads direct reports and project teams on the design of innovative processes and tools to standardize the collection, analysis, and recording of learning data company-wide using SAP. Designs, develops, and implements a company-wide program evaluation system that documents the impact of learning spend on the business.
- Identifies opportunities and presents value propositions to secure funding for improvements in data integration, management, technology, planning and/or processes.

**Job Responsibilities (continued)**:- Co-ordinates the work of key internal and external stakeholder groups, including vendors. Analyses the external environment and ensures business strategy aligns with opportunities and external needs and expectations while implementing new business development and new product performance measures (scorecard) to track and monitor growth and system performance.
- Converts data from the program and develops materials and analytical solutions presentations for clients, including summaries of use cases, results, gaps, recommendations, and documentation of how to best use the provided insights/ solutions.
- Provides recommendations on the design and implementation of advanced analytics to meet business goals and partners with stakeholders to plan the implementation of technologies and solutions to support sustainable analytical solutions in a production environment.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- Completed post-secondary degree, or certification in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, OR a combination of equivalent professional experience and training.

**Experience**
- 3 to 5 years of relevant functional experience with SAP and data management and analytics
- (If managing a team) 2 or more years’ experience managing people
- One or more years of experience in a unionized environment an asset
