Position Available: Casual opportunities availability - flexibility required

**Salary**: $18.52 to $23.96/hour depending on experience

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Assist in scheduling, preparing and implementing recreation programs which support Intercare’s philosophy of meeting the holistic needs of the customers, as directed
- Maintain appropriate records of planned programs and attendance
- Documents care, programs and interactions as required on the resident’s health care record
- Participate in outings and other special events
- Demonstrate respect to all customers, by working with them in a calm, courteous manner

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements**:

- A **Re**creation Therapy Aide Diploma** is preferred; a **Recreation Therapy Aide certifica**t**e** and/or a minimum of two years as recreation therapy assistant or related field experience in a continuing care setting will be considered
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined
