Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct archaeological assessments using Remote Access to Archaeological Data (RAAD) to support mining and exploration projects.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to integrate archaeological findings with broader project objectives, ensuring a harmonious balance between development and heritage preservation.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes and best practices within the archaeological field, particularly as they pertain to the mining industry in British Columbia.
- Liaise with Indigenous communities and stakeholders when necessary, fostering respectful and constructive dialogue regarding cultural heritage considerations.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Archaeology or a closely related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in archaeological principles and practices.
- Proven experience in conducting archaeological assessments and preparing high-quality reports, with a portfolio that includes work in the mining sector preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Remote Access to Archaeological Data (RAAD), with the ability to leverage this tool effectively for research and assessment purposes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing documents that meet the exacting standards of our clients and regulatory bodies.
- Independent work ethic, complemented by the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with British Columbia’s archaeological regulatory framework, particularly as it applies to mining and exploration.

Compensation:
