**LetsStopAIDS is Canada's Youth-HIV charity focusing on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of Youth-HIV leaders.**

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our National team. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, while also making planning and executing project plans that support National programme goals. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn about the ins and outs of working within the HIV-related charitable sector.

**Position**

**About You**:

- Experience in youth and/or peer education would be an asset
- Previous project management or leadership experience
- Ability to manage and collaborate with volunteers
- Self-driven proactive problem solver with mínimal supervision
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating outcomes of projects or initiatives
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to make decisions
- Ability to create reports and presentations to demonstrate project growth and status (both during and following project implementation)
- Willingness and ability to travel within Canada, as required
- Experience in a start-up environment would be an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Alongside National Team, determine and define project scope, objectives, and schedules [20%]
- Establish clear and actionable goals and schedules for key project deliverables, ensuring smooth and successful implementation [25%]
- Develop and maintain project team of volunteers and interns [15%]
- Ability to build and monitor budget implementation [5%]
- Coordinate regular and up-to-date communication with their team and all project stakeholders [10%]
- Conduct quality checks on project progress and ensure any issues that may arise during the project are resolved in a timely manner [10%]
- Build relationships with external partners and stakeholders with an eye for growth and visibility [5%]
- Coordinate with a team of volunteer all aspects related to the logistics for events/projects, from procurement through to purchase and implementation [10%]
- Other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
