**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Enters new contracts into SAP, issues buy/sell confirmations to supplier/client.
- Maintains open and constant communication with traders and logistics to ensure all deals are processed with accuracy and efficiency.
- Tracks active and future contracts, and movement of goods, and updates file status as required by trader.
- Works with customs brokers and files customs documents as needed.
- Works with CFIA (Canada Food Inspection Agency) as needed, and in liaison with the logistics department.
- Monitors and responds promptly to all incoming communications from traders, customers, and suppliers, and ensures proper flow of pertinent information among external and internal stakeholders.
- Maintains electronic archive of supplier and product related documents for easy access by the department.
- Enters, monitors, and updates contracts in Access as required by logistics team; adds update notes as required to ensure files are consistently up to date.
- Acts as liaison when needed between the dairy department and accounting department to help ensure smooth processing of invoicing, collection of payment, and establishment of new suppliers and clients.
- Assists with secondary costs administration as required.
- Assists with attaining carrier rates, managing claims, calling warehouses, etc.
- Thinks ‘outside of the box’ to develop new efficiencies or processes to support organizational goals and strategies.
- Complies with all company policies, guidelines, and objectives.
- Completed secondary school required; post-secondary degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field of study preferred.
- Efficient and accurate keyboarding skills required.
- Tach savvy, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with full Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access preferred.
- Proficiency with databases required; **SAP ERP experience strongly preferred.**:

- Able to effectively multi-task, prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to work autonomously, as well as in a team setting.
- Organized with exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), and a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client focused environment.
- Self-starter and motivated.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business situations and expectations.
