**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The primary role of the **Production Supervisor** is leading the day-to-day activities and maximizing operational efficiencies and quality performance, while ensuring Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality programs and process are being met. This includes ensuring production plan is on schedule, meeting daily KPI goals, maintaining consistency product quality and integrity of all our GMP, Safety and Quality practices during the manufacturing process.
As part of their primary role, the **Production Supervisor** directly supervises, coaches and coordinates operations staff, and works collaboratively with the maintenance staff and boiler operators in a manner that drives and ensures the Health and Safety of our people, ensures compliance of all food safety and quality programs, plant productivity, maintains engagement, and drives CAPA’s and a continuous improvement work environment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**:

- Organize, deploy, manage and measure weekly/day-to-day production performance, consulting with Production Shift Managers and Plant Manager in regard to production schedules, staff requirements, equipment repairs, and other production concerns.
- Ensure daily production plan is carried out on schedule and consistent product quality/integrity is manufactured.
- Lead the attainment of quality and production goals, objectives and standards without compromising food safety and quality.
- Respond to routine operational issues including troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues.
- Ensure routine maintenance checks assigned to production are completed.
- Ensure all operations documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner and accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Ensure GMPs practices are followed, and high standard is maintained at all times.
- Develop and maintain a team-based work environment by providing leadership, direction, coaching, training, and clear and consistent communication.
- Identify, assemble, and manage people resources required to complete operational processes.
- Facilitate group collaboration and create a Continuous Improvement environment.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Highly organized with excellent time management/priority setting skills and decision-making skills.
- Result-oriented with the ability to self-direct.
- Experience in a culturally diverse work environment.
- 2 years of product manufacturing experience (preferably dairy operations and/or food production plant) or relevant postgraduate diploma.
- Experience in a team lead/supervisory role is an asset.
