Applications are invited for the temporary part time position of Network Project Assistant in the Research & Innovation Division, located at the Welland Campus. The starting rate is $24.63 for a 24 hour work week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year such as start or end of term. This is a temporary position and is set to end March, 2024.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Act as first point of contact for partner institution inquiries and questions
- Facilitate, coordinate, and assemble materials for Network meetings, events, promotion, etc.
- Coordinate Network Project Managers’ schedules, internal and external meeting logistics, conferences, and travel arrangements
- Compose, process and complete, as directed, correspondence including letters, reports, memos, etc. for the Networks
- Compile, maintain and file records and spreadsheets
- Ensure that all Network project and grant documentation is compiled and maintained through established office procedures
- General office duties (photocopying, filing, ordering, mailing, etc.)
- Coordinate logistics, as well as develop meeting minutes, for internal, external, and committee meetings, as required
- Liaising with external funding officials as needed on matters related to financial administration and reporting
- Provide expertise and guidance on compliance and eligibility of research processes and purchases, related to the Networks funding
- Collect all required information from partner institutions as it relates to Network funding; compiling data and working with the Research Grants & Contracts Officer and Finance division to ensure compliance with funder guidelines and accurate and timely reporting to funder
- Compile/track all performance metric data for each partner institution as it relates to each Network’s program and projects; input data as required for reporting
- Assist with all Network events, as needed

**Qualifications**:

- 2-year diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Financial Administration or similar field of study, or a Science diploma or degree in a field relevant to greenhouse technology
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Experience working within a post-secondary setting considered an asset
- Experience working with funding agencies an asset
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
