**About the Role**

The Company has an Actuarial Analyst Development Program that provides support for actuarial exams.

**Responsibilities**: (include but not limited to):

- Support the quarterly valuation process and analysis of the IFRS 17 liabilities;
- Support the development and review of experience studies on key actuarial assumptions;
- Implement assumption changes in the AXIS valuation model;
- Perform model refinements in AXIS;
- Assist with special projects to enhance financial and capital management capabilities of the Company;
- Supporting the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives; and
- Maintain procedural documentation and ensure that processes have appropriate controls to comply with actuarial guidelines.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field;
- 4+ years of experience at a life (re)insurance or consulting;
- Completed at least 5 Society of Actuaries exams;
- Advanced working knowledge with Moody’s AXIS is necessary;
- Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel);
- Knowledge of Moody’s Risk Integrity is an asset;
- Strong communication and analytical skills, as well as attention to detail.
