We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Peer Supporter to our team who is passionate about creating opportunities for themselves and their peers by presenting peer led, strengths based and engaging content.

**Please note: This role is not for a Personal Support Worker. If you are qualified as a PSW, please do not send your resume.**

As a Peer Supporter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating peer-led groups and providing one-on-one support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Facilitating peer-led support groups and workshops.
- Offering Peer Support led emotional and practical support to individuals.
- Sharing personal experiences to provide relatable, empathetic support.
- Assisting individuals in identifying and accessing resources.
- Encouraging and empowering individuals to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a recognized Peer Support training course.
- At least 2 years of experience in the field of Peer Support.
- Experience in facilitating peer-led groups.
- WRAP Level 2 certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent role model in leading a recovery based lifestyle.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
