**Job Description - Accounting Associate**

The Accounting Associate role is to organize, administrate and facilitate the daily business within the company - by performing a variety of general administrative and clerical services. This position requires a customer-centric, friendly and positive individual who is known to work collaboratively to attain both personal goals and as well as achieve the company’s mission. They also require a high level of organization, multitasking capabilities as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Process invoices
- Scan invoices and work orders and save on network drive
- Follow up with customer for purchase orders when necessary, update invoice and resubmit to customer for payments
- Assist uploading invoices to customer portals as required
- Assist with other accounting functions such as payables as required
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries with respect to invoicing
- Follow up with customers on overdue invoices (first level)
- Maintain data in ERP system as required ex. Customer contacts
- Back up for reception as required (i.e. Answer the phones, take service and sale calls)
- Provide assistance for other departments as required
- Other duties as reasonable assigned

**Qualifications**:

- College or University Graduate from Accounting or related field of study
- Excellent organizational and computer (MS Office) skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks/ ERP systems considered an asset
- Diplomacy, tact, and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounts receivable: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
