**Job Overview**
Seeking an empathetic, creative, and energetic support worker (EA)to support my 10-year-old son to attend OUTDOOR/INDOOR Activities in Tricities. You will need to be very engaged, proactive and able to help anticipate challenges and support regulation or calm the nervous system in the dysregulation or challenges in occasional situations.

Dates will be SundaysSaturday 10-2 OR. Ideally, you have experience working with explosive children and those with autism, non speaking, ADHD, anxiety, and sensory processing differences. I'd love to find someone with a safe car who can also do the pick-up and drop-off to/from Home.

**Duties**:

- Provide one-on-one care and supervision for the autistic child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage the child in meaningful activities that promote social interaction, communication, and skill development.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring that all areas are safe and conducive to play and learning.
- Support the child with daily routines, including personal hygiene, dressing, and other self-care tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress, behaviors, and any concerns that may arise.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in caregiving Autistic and special needs children.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist the child.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy are essential for interacting with both the child and their family.
- A clean background check is required prior to employment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
