As an Air Freight Pricing Specialist, you excel at delivering a high standard of Customer Service by providing timely quotes with the goal of growing market share. In this position, you will ensure DGF pricing commitments, Key Performance Indicators, revenue, & profitability goals are met. Act as a liaison for clients, agents and sales executives. Your primary responsibilities are:

- To focus on the efficient, qualified, and timely issuance of Air Freight pricing in order to increase market share and improve the quote success performance.
- Identify the most suitable airfreight services in terms of transit time, routing, cost and provider to fit customer and shipment specific requirements.
- Use your knowledge of current market conditions to effectively spot buy products from airfreight and trucking vendors at a profitable level.
- Gain customer support and trust
- Follow up and negotiation of pricing submission.
- Analyze quotes using the various reporting tools provided.
- Negotiate ad-hoc pricing with trucking and airline vendors.
- Liaison with trade lane, sales & product to identify opportunities.
- You will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years in freight forwarding industry specifically Air Freight shipment.
- Strong communicative, analytical, & administrative skills.
- Team player with strong sense of urgency
- Strong Customer service skills
- Knowledge of airfreight carriers and market an asset
- CIFFA and/or CITT graduate an asset
