Speech-language Pathologist

**Full Job Description**

Speech Bubbles is a small speech therapy clinic located in Langley City. We aim to create a workplace where our staff are properly equipped to deliver high-quality speech therapy, where their experience and expertise are valued, and where they can feel proud to work.

**What to expect**:
We mainly work with children, although we will accept teenaged and adult clients as well. You will have paid prep time as well as access to a variety of assessments and therapy materials. All our sessions are conducted in-clinic, and you are not required to drive to clients’ homes. Approximately 20% of your caseload will be teletherapy, although this will vary depending on your active clients. Supervision is available if needed, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

**Requirements**:

- Be registered (or be in the process of registering with) CSHBC
- Have a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)

**Assets**:

- Previous experience working with children, especially working with children on the Autism Spectrum or with developmental disabilities
- Registration with the RASP
- Registration with Speech & Hearing BC
- Training in PECS
- Training in Hanen workshops
- Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL)
- Ability to speak other languages

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff must wear masks and clients are encouraged to wear masks when possible and have their temperature checked. Plexiglass shields are provided along with frequent sanitization. Approximately 20% of appointments are over teletherapy.
