**Position Summary**

The Manager, Wealth Management provides ongoing coaching and managerial oversight to all wealth management staff including the Investment Specialist, Wealth Advisor, Investment/Insurance advisor and CFS Coordinator. The role is responsible for providing a wide range of support to the Director, Wealth Advisory in all aspects of the Credit Union’s Wealth practice, including planning, recommending and implementing initiatives that are aimed to improve the member and staff experience, profitably.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in the wealth industry, including IIROC, MFDA, compliance and financial planning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Completion of Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation is considered to be a strong asset
- Thorough knowledge of sales management practices; life insurance knowledge is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership skills including engaging, coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Ability to build and sustain positive and effective working relationships with employees, members, partners, management and community
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and facilitation
