The **_QA Surveillance Operator_** plays a pivotal role in overseeing and evaluating the adherence to Playgrounds' policies, procedures, and mandates across all departments. Through meticulous monitoring and reporting, this position actively identifies compliance issues, providing crucial insights to management that they may otherwise be aware of. At the forefront of this position, the QA is required to uphold professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality, all actions and observations align with Playgrounds' established standards and guidelines.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- By following specific checklists and inspection forms, conduct vigilant monitoring and observation to identify instances of non-compliance per department. Specifically, focus on areas such as dress code violations, productivity concerns, code of conduct infractions, and unhygienic practices.
- Report any observations of potential threats, suspicious behavior, theft, or tampering with assets such as money, chips, and gaming equipment to the surveillance supervisors and or surveillance manager.
- Provide follow-up reviews and investigations of department-related issues
- Thoroughly document all observed violations, ensuring accurate and detailed reports that capture the relevant information required for further action and follow-up.
- Effectively communicate findings and relevant information to the surveillance manager so that the audit can remain fair and insightful based on observed patterns and trends.

**_ Supervisory Responsibilities:_** This position has mínimal supervisory responsibilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bilingual (French/English)
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in the fields of security or surveillance preferred. Must be proficient at the use of the computer programs Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong visual understanding - ability to see hidden patterns, notice potential suspicious activity
- Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
- Ability to function independently with mínimal supervision
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Must be physically able to withstand continued sitting for a period of 8 hours or more and be able to work in a confined area with mínimal supervision

Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 40 poker tables and a selection of over 650 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro and is in the midst of an exciting expansion project that will include expanding the gaming floors, a stunning hotel and additional contemporary food and beverage outlets.

L'opérateur de surveillance AQ sera responsable de la surveillance et de la réalisation de vérifications approfondies afin de maintenir et d'assurer la conformité aux normes de l'entreprise en contrôlant tous les départements et en documentant toutes les exceptions aux politiques et procédures.

Il sera responsable de la surveillance et de l'observation quotidiennes et continues des clients du casino et des membres de l'équipe.

**Responsabilités**:

- Observer les opérations de jeu pour détecter les activités irrégulières telles que la tricherie, le vandalisme ou le vol par les employés ou les clients.
- Maintenir la connaissance des exigences réglementaires liées à l'assurance qualité.
- Identifier et documenter toute irrégularité, tout incidente et toute violation des règlements et des politiques, et les signaler au responsable de la surveillance.
- Identifier toute menace potentielle pour les actifs de jeu telle que l'argent, les jetons et l'équipement de jeu.
- Assurer la surveillance des agents de sécurité et/ou de la direction et des clients
- Surveiller les activités de l'établissement pour s'assurer du respect de toutes les politiques et procédures de l'entreprise
- S'assurer que les employés suivent les politiques, les procédures et les protocoles de sécurité de l'entreprise.
- Surveiller et évaluer le rendement des employés, y compris les compétences en matière de service à la clientèle, le respect des politiques et des procédures, et les tâches propres au poste.
- Tenir des dossiers et des rapports précis sur le rendement des employés, les incidents avec les clients et toute autre information pertinente.
