Your role as a **Technician** is to work cohesively with other team members to service and maintain these sites. The work performed will directly impact the success of Apex Outdoor Systems and the relationships with its clients.

**Qualifications**
- (2) Years experience as a Junior Irrigation Technician
- Clean Driving History with a Valid Ontario “G” License
- Demonstrated ability in irrigation repairs of large scale systems.
- Ability to be organized and complete tasks/jobs efficiently, effectively and to the standards of the company
- Ability to problem-solve and formulate logical solutions to any issues which may arise prior to or after the arrival to job sites
- Experience with various types of machinery (i.e. vibratory plows, Power Tools, etc.)
- Exceptionally good at communicating with direct reports, other team members and support roles
- Experience with servicing and installing Outdoor Lighting and Audio Systems

**Your Direct report**

You will report directly to Owners of the company.

**Responsibilities**

As an integral part of Apex Outdoor Systems, it is your responsibility to perform all work to the best of your knowledge and abilities.

**Installing Systems**

Your main responsibilities revolve around the servicing and installation of Outdoor Lighting Systems and Residential/ Commercial Irrigation Systems
- Installation of Outdoor Lighting Systems
- Installation of Outdoor Audio Systems
- Installation of Irrigation Systems

**Repairing Systems**

Replacement of damaged or defective irrigation components such as: sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, fittings, enclosements, and other components as needed.
- Repair damaged or defective irrigation lateral piping and mainline piping.
- Repairing damaged or defective Outdoor Lighting and Audio Components

**Maintaining Systems**
- Opening irrigation systems (start-ups).
- Closing irrigation systems (winterizations)
- Performing routine maintenance visits
- Responding to Service Calls
- Inspect and repair Outdoor Lighting Systems.

**Team Member Training and Support**
- As an experienced team member, you have the responsibility to your colleagues to ensure that they are performing at their best.
- Train and assist Junior Technicians when needed.
- Assist other Technicians when needed

**Compensation**:
**Experience based compensation**
Pay Range:$21-28/ Hour
