Our experienced clinicians have completed rigorous training in the fields of travel medicine and immunology to ensure our clients and patients stay informed, healthy, and well during their time abroad.

**Position Profile**

Passport Health is looking for a **General Manager of Operations **to support our clinics across Canada.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the **General Manager of Operations **is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s daily activities related to the production and operations. This role requires the individual to be highly organized, have a strong work ethic, and be able to successfully collaborate with supporting departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Human Resources.
- Responsible for Canada P&L to ensure financial performance meets or exceeds budgetary commitment.
- Prepare annual budgets for clinic operations.
- Responsible for ensuring clinics are operationally ready with vaccine inventory, medical waste management, janitorial services, and security to meet weekly and daily demand.
- Responsible for controlling supply and inventory costs associated with vaccines, medications, medical supplies, and office supplies.
- Act as a primary contact for vaccine suppliers, negotiations, and purchasing contracts.
- Responsible for appropriate staffing of clinics and related labour costs.
- Analyze occupancy and demand of all Canadian clinics weekly and adjusting target hours per location. Work with collaboratively with the HR, Clinical Management, and Scheduling Team to fulfill target hours, and determine actions required to meet demands.
- Responsible for keeping operational documents/reports up-to-date.
- Monitor and evaluate performance in Canada: analyze and interpret data and metrics against goals to ensure progress is being made and propose corrective action if necessary.
- Lead in the effort of clinic expansions: from lease negotiation, onsite inspection, to ensure the clinic has all tools to operate.
- Manage suppliers and be the main point of contact.
- Propose new strategies to improve the financial performance of Canada clinics.
- Handle Customer enquiries and complaints which are escalated from the clinical team.
- Examines reports (e.g., inventory, sales, and daily reports) to determine the operational activities of the company and ensure optimum performance.
- Promote and manage a corporate culture of accountability and ownership.
- Perform ad hoc projects as required.

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related fields required; M.B.A preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant Operations Management experience required.
- Exceptional project management and leadership skills in a cross-functional matrix team environment.
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
- Effective attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- High degree of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Must be able to travel across Canada and the United States occasionally throughout the year.
- Successfully pass a Police Background Check

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must be available to work in-person at our Downtown Toronto office regularly.
