**Job Description** Job Purpose**:
The HR Coordinator will provide HR generalist support for the Canada Goose teams in various areas including employee relations, labour relations, health and safety, compensation, recruitment, orientation and performance management.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Assist the HR Business Partner with health and safety programs to ensure a safe and secure work environment
- Work with Managers to ensure job descriptions continue to be relevant
- Administration of employee perk programs
- Represent Canada Goose at job fairs, recruiting events and open houses
- Track and administer referral bonus program and assist in the composition and distribution of reward statements
- Provide new operations employees with a comprehensive onboarding program to enable a smooth transition into CG
- Prepare internal HR related documents including employment, promotion and transfer letters, termination forms
- Handle and manage CNESST claims, facilitate leave of absence and safe return to work program
- Assist with safety and health programs that support the well-being of employees in the facility through industry best practices and knowledge of legislative requirements
- Ensure HRIS data is up to date and accurate; recommend process improvements for the system
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history for all employees
- Support/lead and implement various HR projects and initiatives
- Other duties as required
**Let's Talk About You**:
- A post-secondary education in Human Resources or industrial relations
- 2+ years of human resources experience
- Health & Safety training including Joint Health & Safety Committee education/experience
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development within the HR profession
- Working knowledge of employment legislation in Canada and Human Rights legislation
- Well-versed in many HR functional competencies and best practices
- Working knowledge in CNESST
- Creativity and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity are critical
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent grammar, business letter and report writing skills
- A clear and succinct communicator (verbal and written)
- Ability to think proactively, critically and independently to make good decisions
- Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent listening skills
- A team player who builds strong relationships based on trust and integrity
- A clear sense of urgency to achieve results. A “can-do”, “let’s make it happen” attitude
- Embrace continuous improvement by proposing new and/or better ways of doing things
- Excellent technical ability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS)
- Fluent in French and English
