Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel is a proud, family-run business and has established itself in our beautiful city as one of Niagara’s most unique destination hotels. We have just concluded a magnificent five-million-dollar property improvement plan, which began three years ago with the introduction of Doc Magilligan's Restaurant & Irish Pub. Since then we have completely remodelled all 167 guest rooms, modernised our lobby/Front Desk area, and beautified the exterior of our hotel. With the revitalization of our property, we are experiencing a major surge of positive energy, not only from an internal employee standpoint but from a customer satisfaction perspective as well.

Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel is looking for goal oriented, passionate hospitality professionals who are eager to join our Front Desk Team as a dedicated Guest Service Agent. We are only looking for individuals who can adopt this mindset and are willing to bring new ideas to the table. Opportunity for growth and movement to full time has always been available for the right individuals who are willing to put in the effort and embrace our customer service focused culture. Our main goal at our hotel is to create positive, long-lasting experiences, which separate us from the competition.

We are looking for full-time Guest Service Agents who can undertake the following duties and Responsibilities:

- Greets all guests with enthusiasm and sincerity, with the willingness to go the extra mile
- Ability to learn all aspects of the Cairn Croft Hotel, in turn being able to relay this information clearly to the guest
- Adopt the Cairn Croft strategy undertaking the responsibility of our “Everyone Sells” Sales Culture
- Exercises outstanding telephone etiquette, ensuring phones are answered professionally and in a timely manner
- Follows Cairn Croft check in and check out procedures, confirming that all mandatory details have been covered
- All guest requests and requirements must be documented and followed through with in a timely manner
- Must communicate effectively with the rest of the team, including but not limited to the Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B department
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness of the Lobby and Front Desk workspace area
- Must be comfortable with Windows Software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- This position does include a night audit (midnights) rotation schedule.
