**Main Duties**:
- Build a healthy book of business and maintain high levels of client retention
- Develop new business opportunities by active prospecting, cross-selling and up-selling
- Engage with clients to determine their needs and provide expert advice to ensure the best coverage for them
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and proactive and effective communication
- Manage and process business (including risk assessment, quoting/marketing, reviewing coverage, processing policy changes/endorsements, handling renewals, etc.) on a timely basis
- Handle customers' and insurers' inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Support clients in the claims process, etc.

- Superior work ethic with high level of integrity, professionalism, reliability and accountability
- High level of motivation, excellent time management skills, and the ability to multi-task
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills with a natural ability at building authentic client relationships
- Team player
- High school diploma (minimum)
- General Insurance Level 1 license (Level 2 preferred)
- Minimum 2 years General Insurance experience
- Commercial Insurance experience with working knowledge of various commercial lines business (i.e. commercial property & commercial liability, bonds, commercial auto/trucking/fleet, etc.) and commercial markets (standard and specialty) would be an asset
- Experience in insurance companies' portals/quoting tools
- Knowledge of Epic would be an asset

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
