**Key Responsibilities**:

- Define product requirements, workflows and features. You will be a very important part of what ends up as commercial products - you will be rolling up your sleeves all the time.
- Work closely with the engineering team to translate legal and compliance needs into technical artifacts for SaaS-based products.
- Stay up-to-date on compliance regulations, including data protection (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), AI regulations (e.g. EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF), industry standards (ISO, SOC 2), and security frameworks.
- Review legal documents and compliance reports to ensure product features meet legal obligations.
- Assist in the development and execution of product based on deep understanding and interpretation of legal and regulatory frameworks.
- NOTE: This is a very hand-on job -- you will be producing software even if you will not be coding. This is not a "talk the talk" type of a job; it is a "walk the walk" type of job.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks, legal documentation, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO standards). You must have worked with regulatory requirements of legal frameworks in the past.
- Strong understanding of software and system architecture, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise environments.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proven ability to understand and translate complex legal or technical concepts into actionable product features.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in the compliance or legal tech sector.
- Prior experience in product management, business analysis, or regulatory compliance.

We believe in teamwork and collaboration so we only work from the office (downtown Vancouver). You must reside in the Vancouver area and be able to come into the office. You must be legally able to work in Canada full time.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
