Micro-device Transfer Process Scientist

- Desired Skills: Industry experience in transfer processes and characterization of semiconductor devices and/or thin film coatings, with a thorough understanding of the effect of transfer process conditions on the performance of the microdevices._

Qualifications:

- Ph.D or Masters in electrical engineering, physics, material science, chemistry, engineering physics or related STEM fields.
- 2+ years of industry experience in microdevice transfer techniques
- Extensive knowledge and experience in developing processes for transferring micro/nano-devices from one substrate to another
- Experience in developing process recipes for micro devices like LEDs, TFTs including hands-on experience with lithography and etching tools
- Knowledge of bonding and debonding at wafer level
- Self-motivated and creative/innovation.
- Data-driven with strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Good analytical/modeling skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing transfer process flows and recipes for mass transfer of semiconductor based micro-devices or thin film devices from one substrate to another
- Investigation of the performances of microdevices used in display and semiconductor industry such as LEDs, TFTs and others.
- Performing depositions on various vacuum deposition techniques (CVD and PVD systems) and able to perform polymer coatings and relevant characterizations.
- Help the managers in developing materials and process roadmap and strategies.
- Participate in the development of process conditions for Omniply’s products and able to create SOPs for different processes and experiment designing.
- Manage materials and process development projects.
- Effectively communicate the results to the Omniply’s management
- Document the results in comprehensive technical reports
