**Hardware and Software**
- Partner with all departments to understand their technology needs
- Select hardware according to Northgate IT guidelines
- Work with to create an evergreening
- Work with departments to source software that will meet their needs; prepare proposals for the CFO showing costs and benefits

**Set IT Policies and Monitor Compliance**
- Set standard operating IT policies

**Control of IT Spending**
- Develop capital & operating expense budgets

**Maintenance and Technical IT Services**
- Serving as technical escalation point for IT
- Leading and managing the day-to-day performance for IT
- Optimize hardware while following IT policies
- Liaising with Managed Service Provider
- Ensure that Northgate complies with software license requirements
- Managing upgrades to software and hardware
- Ensuring disaster recovery plans are sufficient and tested

**Other technology needs**
- install and maintain security cameras
- ensure landline phones, licenses and operation are effective
- support cell phone mobility hardware needs
- other responsibilities as required

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- IT training from an accredited information technology program
- 4 to 7 years of related and progressive IT experience
- Technology experience with (but not limited to): Microsoft Dynamics products, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Moducore, and remote work technologies.
- Experience leading cyber security prevention and planning; back-up strategies & methodologies; managing data administration issues
- Experience managing data and network security
- Well versed in industry standard best practices for service support and delivery processes.
- Fundamentals of Windows operating systems
- Software and hardware installation, configuration, upgrading, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repair

**Skills**:

- Basic Networking skills
- Basic understanding of network topologies, cabling as well as the physical setup and layout of a network
- Operational and capital budget preparation and expenditure management
- Experience in telecommunications: assessing needs and managing appropriate technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

**Salary**: $58,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
