Housekeeping/laundry Aide

Cornwall, Canada Sandfield Place Full time

Sandfield Place is looking for a casual housekeeping position Sandfield Place is a long-term care facility, attached to a retirement side.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform industrial cleaning tasks in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Dust, sweep, disinfect, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the housekeeping management

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

**Salary**: $18.38-$21.13 per hour
