DEV Hotel and Conference Centre is looking for an outstanding individual to join us in the position of **Housekeeping Supervisor**

The DEV facility is home to the largest hotel and conference center in Eastern Ontario. The site is located on 75 acres of indoor and outdoor space in Cornwall, Ontario and is ideal for gatherings and conferences of any size. The hotel offers over 500 guest rooms, as well as 70,000 square feet of dynamic and flexible meeting space. For decades, the facility has continued to evolve and is the site of choice for corporate conferences, sporting events, government training programs, and more.

**Summary**

In collaboration with the Housekeeping Manager, and in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for running the daily operations in accordance with the hotel's activities. In general, this position is responsible for hiring, training, supervising staff, conducting inspections of rooms and of the hotel public areas, creating/modifying schedules, closing files, taking inventory, and ensuring that company standards are met. This person will work closely with administration, front desk and food service in planning needs.

- Participate and supervise tasks during major cleaning
- Open/transparent communication with associates and all other departments
- Facilitate daily meetings - engagement with associates

**Desired qualifications**
- 2 years or less of experience in a similar position in the hotel industry
- Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset
- Bilingual - oral and written (French and English)

L’hôtel DEV est le plus grand hôtel et centre de conférences de l’est de l’Ontario. Le site se situe sur 75 acres d’espace intérieur et extérieur à Cornwall, Ontario, et est idéal pour les grandes conférences. **Sommaire**

En collaboration avec le directeur de l’entretien ménager, et en l’absence de ce dernier, le / la superviseur (e) à l’entretien ménager est responsable de veiller au bon déroulement des opérations quotidiennes en fonction des activités de l’hôtel. De façon générale, cette position s’occupe de la formation, de superviser le personnel, faire les inspections de chambres et des espaces publics de l’hôtel, de créer/modifier les horaires, faire l’inventaire, et de s’assurer que les standards de la compagnie sont respectés. Cette personne travaillera en étroite collaboration avec l’administration, la réception et la restauration pour la planification des besoins.
