Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Driver with at least 3 years of proven experience in Heavy haul, or a background in heavy equipment or farming to join our team. In this position you will primarily be responsible for safe operation of a truck and hydraulic tilt (landoll) trailer during loading, unloading and transportation of sea cans, heavy machinery, vehicles, etc. As well as safe and accurate navigation of rural roads around Saskatchewan and throughout Western Canada. There will also be occasions when you will be asked to haul overweight loads of raw logs for transportation to sawmills.

Due to the short haul nature of this position we require residence within daily commuting distance of our yard, preferably in the Moose Jaw or Regina areas.

Pay is based on commission with a bonus structure.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid commercial driver's license
- Proven experience in heavy haul, equipment operating, farming or log truck driving
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and handling freight
- Ability to perform heavy equipment operations
- Automotive repair skills are a plus
- Strong time management and communication abilities

**Duties**:

- Safely operate various types of vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Ability to safely & efficiently operate overweight & over dimensional loads.
- Knowledge of rural areas including an understanding of land locations and grid roads
- Load and unload cargo following specific safety protocols
- Basic understanding of hydraulic controls and hoses
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members effectively

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- A desire to make a positive impact on those you contact throughout the day
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last year or 3 in the last 3 years.

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
