**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform basic pricing analysis by prioritizing large volumes of information from suppliers regarding upcoming price changes, surcharges and tariffs..
- Format vendor price files and ensure the pricing database is accurate and files are formatted before uploading.
- Review impact of new price files or quotes. Report changes to pricing and purchasing managers, buyers and inventory group.
- Work closely with suppliers to confirm the correct program, discounts and price file formats.
- Review daily cost exception reports for accuracy and work closely with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies.
- Address pricing-related inquiries for sources, such as buyers and managers
- Other duties as assigned

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- High school diploma or other high school equivalence certificate.
- Post secondary education related to business administration and/or pricing, purchasing, costing, inventory and 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role required.
- Previous experience in communicating with external vendors and suppliers required.
- Effective problem-solving, time management and analytical skills in fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience with manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data an asset
- Exposure to ERP systems an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers.
- Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.) as well as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word.
- Heavy duty parts knowledge or background an asset

**WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:

- Frequent sitting, standing and walking inside the branch
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms as well as climb stairs in FGI facilities
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
