As a member of the Finance Bus department, the Cost Analyst is responsible for Pre & Post Buy America, Pre & Post Canadian Content, Price Testing and Yearend Count for New Flyer Transit and Coach.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Prepares Pre and Post Buy America analysis & audits.
- Prepares Pre and Post Canadian Content analysis & audits.
- Responsible for requesting, updating, maintaining Buy America certificates & Buy Canadian Certificates.
- Accountable for filing related to Buy America and Canadian Content.
- Assist with running inventory and WIP adjustment report, monitor costing programs and check for error completion.
- Assist with Cost audits.
- Prepares, validate and review costs upload inclusive of KMG intercompany cost upload.
- Responsible for updating Lot Size.
- Assist with providing costs to the process planner.
- Schedules current cost based on future cost and Purchase price variances (PPV).

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- High School diploma, College Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 - 2 years accounting work experience.
- Experience with Oracle is asset.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong analytical skills and an adaptive learner.
