Overview:
SITA is looking for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst L2 position within Sita Global Services (SGS) organization. You will be joining Sita Command Center Security Operations Center (SCC SOC), to help grow our professional team.

As a Security Analyst Level II, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to cyber security alerts and identifying their root cause, potential and actual incidents. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities and risks across a wide range of systems.

What you will do:_**
- Developing and mentoring SOC L1 analysts, ensuring that processes are followed, updating and creating new processes as needed,
- Identify, respond and react to security alerts in ELK SIEM, McAfee SIEM, EDR, and another related security tools.
- Assist with incident response as events are escalated, including triage, remediation and documentation.
- Onboard new security event use-cases into SIEM platform
- Review SOC Analyst L1 ticket queue, review tickets, closure and reassignment as needed.
- Assist Team Lead or SOC Manager with reporting, projects or administrative work needed.
- Provide threat and vulnerability analysis, also security advisory services.

Qualifications:
**_ Who you are:_**
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent in the related field
- 3+ years of experience as an L2 SOC analyst
- Ability to understand TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with SIEM solution (ELK, Splunk), EDR/XDR (PA Cortex, FireEye HX, Microsoft 365 Defender, CrowdStrike) and Threat Intelligence platforms
- Experience with security automation and orchestration solutions, as well as IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus, QualysGuard, etc
- Must be able to detect, analyze, identify, escalate and document security incidents.
- Good knowledge of cyber-attack stages, profiling techniques, and techniques for detecting host and network-based intrusions
- Excellent organizational, oral and written communication in English.
- At least one Information security certification, such as Network +, Security +, GSEC, CySA+, CSA, CIH, GCIA, GCFA, CISSP, or related cyber-security,
- Open mind and quick learner
