Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the security operations and application security strategy to align with business goals and mitigate risks. Driving Corporate Level Security Systems and Processes from Scratch, and Incident/Crisis Response Management.
  • Lead the DevSecOps and AppSec teams, promoting a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization.
  • Design and implement security measures for the protection of systems, networks, and applications (DAST/SAST), including threat analysis and response strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with IT, development, and other departments to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle and operational processes.
  • Manage security incident response and conduct post-incident analysis to prevent future breaches.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OffSec, OSCP) preferred.
  • Extensive AWS Cloud Security experience, with certifications preferred.
  • Significant experience in a leadership role within the field of cybersecurity, specifically in DevSecOps and AppSec.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful security strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a strong passion for cybersecurity.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
