**Axis Insurance Managers Inc. is looking for a broker to take on a lead role in sales, joining our team of professionals and participating in our vision for growth in our specialist area.
**The Energy, Resources, and Renewables practice group is growing and expanding in Alberta.
**We are not looking for a generalist but rather someone who is interested in specializing in a strategic niche market with excellent growth potential and longevity.**

**As a Producer/Sales Specialist in the Energy, Resources & Renewables practice group, we would rely on you to**:

- Develop new business opportunities & initiatives.
- Assist in the development & implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop new contacts and build relationships with prospects within the targeted industry group.
- Collaborate with new clients to review and revise insurance programs, ensuring that coverage reflects their ongoing strategic needs.
- Assist in claims review and managing client issues around claims handling.
- Provide the leadership necessary for development and delivery of insurance and industry related presentations/seminars to prospects and clients as required.
- Regularly meet with the Practice Leader to strategize regarding prospect pipeline and to review goals and sales performance against sales targets as experience is gained.

- Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance experience.
- Knowledge and Experience in the Energy, Resources or Renewables sector would be an asset.
- General Insurance Agent Level II license through Alberta Insurance Council.
- Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills, both verbal and written.
