Echo Technician/ Sonographer

Graduate from a Canadian accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program mandatory
- CMRITO registration mandatory
- Sonography Canada membership preferred/an asset
- ARDMS Echocardiography preferred
- Membership with the Canadian Society of Echocardiography (CSE) preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR Certificate required.
- A minimum of two years experience in the cardiac sonography field preferred
- Familiarity with EQI Echocardiogram standards
- Experience with TTE and Stress Echo, and contrast study
- Experience with IV insertion preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills with a well-developed customer service focus; dealing effectively with patients and physicians
- Effective problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced clinical environment
- Demonstrate initiative and judgment appropriate for the position
- Ability to work in an interprofessional team environment as well as independently.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, and the ability to make independent decisions, displaying a high level of initiative.
- Proven ability to work successful in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
- Satisfactory attendance record
- Case rate with Bonus pay for Contrast Echo and Stress Echo

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From $37.00 per hour
