**PLANNER**

**Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers. Our services include LTL, T/L, and Courier Services and provide the convenience of one-stop shopping.**

**What you will do**:

- Plan an assigned group of owner-operators and company drivers
- Monitor and balance fleet miles among all units
- Plan to meet specific mileage targets
- Communicate with customers to set up loads
- Work directly with customers to set up the movement of loads
- Help out shift dispatchers
- Enter, update, issue, and finalize purchase orders;
- Resolve driver issues
- Work with Pricing, Credit, Billing, and other departments
- Shared responsibility for weekly, monthly, and yearly financial results
- Other duties as required

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum High School diploma with a Community College certificate (up to one (1) year) in a related field or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years experience dispatch preferably in a planning role
- Minimum of two (2) years AS400 and multiple equipment dispatching
- Strong multi-tasking and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels within the organization
