**Position Description**:
CE3 Electronics Inc., is seeking a Production Planner who will work closely with the materials expeditor in our fast paced manufacturing facility. The Production Planner is responsible for tracking and communicating material constraints to the entire CE3 operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside the Production Scheduler in the generation of top level and build to stock sub-assembly work orders; constantly looking for improvement opportunities in the planning process
- Perform a material analysis based on work orders required by the Top Level / Sub-Assemblies Production Schedule, log and flag any material risks and monitor the risks until sufficient resolution is found.
- Meet regularly with Production Management, scheduling and account management to establish work order priorities
- Responsible for maximizing material availability, minimizing inventory levels providing and serving as a liaison between Purchasing and Production departments (No communication with Supplier)
- Coordinates and executes engineering changes/program buildouts/prototype builds/service builds and works to minimize obsolescence and scrap.
- Actively works with Purchasing to ensure all supply gaps are identified and addressed with actions to protect CE3 operations
- Promptly addressing and resolving material production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Collaborate and communicate with the Planning and Operations departments to ensure material supply is accurate, in full and on-time.
- Work independently and as part of the team.
- Analyze actual product demand, forecasts and adjusts inventory plans accordingly.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by management.

**Education and Experience**:

- University/College degree or equivalent related experience
- Related experience in a Manufacturing environment is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude
- Solid understanding of supply chain management
- Very strong attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure with a drive for improvement
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel
- Excellent English skills both oral and written are a must
- Demonstrated ability to work independently; take initiative and follow-up on assigned projects, balanced by excellent teamwork skills

**Eligibility and Clearance Requirements**:

- Applicant must be eligible to work in Canada.

Pay: $54,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
